Park and Oak Last year, we decided it was time for a family dog. I have a list of things to do sitting on my desk at home, and I would always find “get a puppy” scribbled across, written by my daughter. She was relentless in her campaign and I completely caved when I saw a photo of a Bernedoodle, which is a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle. The search began and we found a sweet little puppy on a farm in Southern Illinois. It’s hard to believe that this picture of her was taken less than a year ago. Now it feels like a horse is running around our house, so making it as pet friendly as possible was a definitely a must. She’s not really messy when she is dry and in the house. It’s really long walks and rainy days that bring the dirt in. The good news is, I find we are able to keep everything under control by making a few small changes to our home.
